For proper ventilation system design, it is essential to accurately calculate the surface area of all duct elements. This online calculator allows you to calculate the surface area of various types of ducts, including round and rectangular ducts, as well as fittings such as elbows, tees, and end caps. Such calculations may be required both during the design phase and when purchasing materials for the installation of the ventilation system.

Calculator functionality:

  • Calculation of duct surface area based on geometric parameters (diameter, length, width, and height of elements).
  • Ability to choose from 15 types of elements: round and rectangular ducts, elbows at different angles, transitions, tees, end caps, take-offs, and other fittings.
  • Determination of the surface area for one or all selected elements, with the option to account for the quantity in units or linear meters.
  • Adding the cost of each element to calculate the total cost of the ventilation system.

Calculation process:

  1. Select the type of duct element you want to calculate.
  2. Enter the dimensions of the element according to the provided diagrams (for round and rectangular elements).
  3. Specify the quantity of elements in units or linear meters.
  4. If necessary, enter the cost per unit or linear meter.
  5. Click the "Calculate" button to get the final result.

The calculation results include the surface area of one element, the total surface area of all elements, and their cost. You can also add this data to the specification for further use in the project by clicking the "Add to Specification" button.
